Program Information:

 At NCTC School of Cosmetology students will learn the basic manipulative skills, infection control, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the state board examination and for competency in job entry-level position in cosmetology or related career fields. To ensure continued career success, the graduate will need to continue to learn new and current information related to techniques, trends, fashions, and methods for career development in cosmetology and related fields.

Completion of NCTC School of Cosmetology provides students with the required training and 1,000 hours to take the Vermont state board exam. The path to licensure varies upon enrollment date.

Course Prerequisites

Cosmetology I (Course #70211Y)
This class is an option for students in grades 10 through 12 with grade-level proficiency in English.

Cosmetology II (Course #10327Y)
This class is an option for all students who have participated in and met Cosmetology I proficiencies.

Cosmetology III (Course #70162Y)
This course is available to students who have completed the Cosmetology program and require additional experience hours to obtain licensure.
