Assistant Superintendent

The Maple Run Unified Union School District (MRUSD) Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Grube as its next Assistant Superintendent. Megan will assume the role following the departure of John Muldoon on July 1, 2025.

Megan brings a wealth of experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and educational equity. Since 2019, she has served as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology at Grand Isle Supervisory Union, where she led strategic improvements in curriculum, assessment, and professional learning practices. Her leadership helped drive increased student proficiency and growth in English Language Arts and Math.

Megan’s career spans multiple leadership roles, including serving as a School Effectiveness Coordinator at the Vermont Agency of Education and an instructor at Champlain Valley Educator Development Center. She holds a Master’s in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College.

In the coming months, Megan will work closely with John, the MRUSD leadership team, and staff to ensure a smooth transition. The district looks forward to introducing her to the community through engagement opportunities.

Megan brings a deep passion for fostering innovative and inclusive learning environments. Her first official day as Assistant Superintendent will be July 1, 2025.
