In the event of an emergency or safety incident at your student's school, you will be notified as soon as possible. When it is safe to do so you will receive communication and updates from the district office on the incident, along with any details that can be released and further directions for caregivers to take. This will be done through the mass notification system, news section on the website, and social media. Please remember that we work very hard to keep our students safe. We urge caregivers and other visitors to avoid going to the school or calling the offices during an incident until they are notified that normal school activities have resumed. This allows us to maintain a safe environment for our students and staff and keep our communication channels open.

MRUSD utilizes an automated emergency notification system in the event of a school closing (due to weather or an emergency), which relies on the most up-to-date information you provide.
For email and phone call notifications please be sure your contact information is up to date in PowerSchool. If you have issues logging in, please contact your student's school.
