Greetings BFA/NCTC Community,
We recently had three members of our school community test positive for COVID-19, while in school. All staff and students who are involved have been notified via a phone call or direct conversation. If you have not been contacted you or your children are not a close contact. As with every possible case, we work directly with the state health department and will continue to take our guidance from them.
Please be aware that we are lagging in some attendance functions and it may take up to 48 hours to fully contract trace and connect with individuals. We hope to be up to speed before long but believe all close contracts have been notified.
We encourage all staff, students, and families to follow all the necessary COVID guidelines (wearing masks, staying home when sick, social distancing, and handwashing) and communicate with one of our nurses if you or your children might have symptoms.
