Why Do We Have PLP’s?
Personalized Learning Plans (PLP) are part of Vermont's ACT 77. It mandates that every student in grades 7-12 have a PLP that promotes postsecondary readiness.
Creating Personalized Learning Plans (PLP) provides students the opportunity to reflect upon their learning and shape their future, and enables the adults in their lives to better understand each student as a unique individual.
At BFA, the PLP is a graduation requirement and students must earn a passing grade on their PLP each year they are a student at BFA. A student passes the PLP when they have uploaded all required tasks to their Google Site and shared it with their advisor.
